Payments/Fees

I am in-network with the following insurance providers:

  • Aetna

  • Optum (United Healthcare, Oscar, Oxford)

For those not covered under the providers listed above, I offer out-of-network services. This means that fees are due in full at the end of every session. I will provide you with the necessary information via a superbill to submit to your insurance company for the purpose of seeking reimbursement if you so choose. I encourage you to ask your insurance company about your specific out-of-network benefits, as many insurance companies will reimburse for mental health services (see my FAQ page for a list of questions to ask your insurance company).

I offer a complimentary, 15-minute initial phone consultation. Please reach out to me for more information about my session fees.

Cancellation Policy: I ask for at least 48 hours’ notice if you need to cancel your scheduled appointment. You will be charged the full session fee for a no-show or a cancellation with less than 48 hours’ notice.

Good Faith Estimate (GFE): Under the No Surprises Act, which became effective on January 1, 2022, healthcare providers, such as myself, must provide self-pay or uninsured clients with a GFE for the purpose of increasing the transparency of the cost of services and reducing the likelihood of unexpected medical bills. Essentially, a GFE is a notification of the estimated total charges of treatment services for a 12-month period. The GFE will be made available to you upon request and/or scheduling of services.
